Hard Anodize Locally?

Looking if any place in WNY does hard anodizing?

Thanks

STM has a connection they posted about before.

Hard anodize is different than cosmetic anodize

I completely skipped that word when I read it. I’m not familiar with “hard anodize” sorry.

Keystone Corporation i heard can do hard coat.

whats the difference?

Here’s a few places i would call and ask. Best 4 Anodizing in Buffalo, NY with Reviews

Seneca platers East Aurora

Tomkins metal finishing Batavia

I believe RJ Metal Finishing does it as well.

I have used them for 2011 aluminum before and all their work was great. They can give you great tolerances too if you need them.

Edit: Machining parts after they are anodized really takes a tole on the bits. Do it correct once!

Hard is done at much lower temps (closer to freezing) and higher voltage to create a thicker/tougher surface. It has great wear resistance.

They do, I dropped stuff off there for work to get hard coated.

So long as you are very specific as to what you want, they always did a good job.
