guarantee its your coil pack. my vr did the same thing, and they are prone to failure. if you like the car and are keeping it for awhile upgrade to msd style coil packs. the upgrade can be done for around $200-$250. you’ll notice better throttle feel, and better gas mileage. the stock wasted spark paks in these cars are junk.

YES, thats exactly what went on with my mitsu. it actually FELT different off the line and off a roll.
