Emissions so far many of us did it a while back with the KA’s still in the
car but im sure a properly tuned SR will pass. As for insurance good luck
trying to tell them you slaped in a Turbo Engine into your car. I’m paying
enough as it is I don’t want to see my rates double if not tripple.
You can always get emissions wink wink.
Let’s just say that I passed my emissions without even bringing it into a shop. There are places wher you can get it done.
I’m personally not worried about emissions. It’s the insurance that’s scary.
There’s no way to tell them and not get your insurance hiked.
What I’m more worried about is if I were to get in an accident, and losing all the money that was spent on the car
The only way that I could mabye see getting the value of the engine back in case of a serious front end crash, is to get the shop where you bot it from to say that they sold you a KA instead of an SR, on the receipt. That way if your engine gets messed you could get the full value back, because maybe the insurance people won’t know what an SR is. And there is nothing illegal with replacing a KA with a KA
Get teh thing setup and running right before going for e-test?
