Sounds like fun, always like to see pics
 sounds like a blast
So you’re going to keep the Z now, right? The N/A is more to your liking than the turbo setup?
I might still sell it, depends on where I want to go re: competing down the road. SCCA T2 might be a bit out of my price range, so I might pick up an older BMW or Porsche again to Club Race - but I have a few years before that decision As it stands I couldn’t be happier with the handling / setup of the car.
it was a lot of fun but god damn, i’m still sore! need to get the seats and 6-points in asap! i was testing out a new set up in the miata, the tires i had for my day 1 (rain) sucked i bummed some RA1’s off a spec miata racer that did very well day 2 (the miata finally held its own) the only issue was i couldn’t brace my self in the stock seat.
the car should be easier to drive and snky snky might have some extra power next year.
Luke, what seriously helped me after day 1 was stretching… before and AFTER the event. Loosened me up quite a bit for the following days. Day 3 was a piece of cake.
+1 on seats…
Sounds like a good time, how much did all this track time cost?
Um…Dave will have to answer that…he paid (anniversary gift).
But I spent a good 300 on new pads, about 100 on gas between the three days, 100 for an oil change, 80ish for tech inspection at my mechanic, and a few other misc odds and end stuff.
Don’t pay for tech inspections, I have a shop up in the city usually does them for free. $100 for an oil change seems steep too.
My car takes 10 quarts of oil, even doing it myself costs just about the same. And it’s a pain in the ass to get under the car, so it’s worth paying a tiny bit more to have someone else do it.
And I didn’t mind paying for the tech inspection. It was their time, and they always treat me well, so I want to pay them for it.
Didn’t realize the Boxster took 10 quarts, if you are running synthetic and add a filter, the change itself was only about $20 in labor.
I get my tech inspections free, but I make up for it with 4 alignments are misc. welding jobs so they still get their money from me.
You and Dave will have to join my wife and I next year at some BMW club events, the more the merrier!
let me know when Greg, and I’m there
