Headed west for Formula D Pro Am

So I’m heading to Laughlin, NV this weekend for the Formula D Pro Am finals on Nov 10-12th. This is my chance to get my FD pro license. The competition is gonna be tough for sure. Saturday will be the competition and Sunday I get to try and beat the pros that scored zero to try to win their license. I’m gonna try and hold it down for Pittsburgh and show the west coast guys we mean business. Here’s a link to check the event out. http://www.proamdrift.com/
Wish me luck.

Yeah, I got back early Wednesday morning 5:00 am. I left Nevada at 3:00 pm Monday our time and made it home Wednesday 5:00 am. 38 hrs. door to door. I had to sleep for four hours. Well, all in all it didn’t go as good as I planned but that’s OK. I made top 16 first day only to get knocked out first round. Then Sunday I qualified 21st. :frowning: It’s weird because I did better Sunday. So no FD Pro License for me. Maybe next year. Oh well, I had fun and learned a lot. It was nice to be the little fish in the big pond. Everyone was super cool. Yes, even Nick Hogan. The Cali guys are for real. They don’t play thats for sure. I honestly need to get over the fear of wrecking my car. It’s the main thing holding me back at this point. The course was a third gear entry to a tight decreasing radius turn into two esses. They arranged the K rails so you had to make the k rail your rear clipping point then charge into the inside of the first turn. Sounds easy but it was hard to really get comfortable with. Not to mention the track was paved the day before the event and was really effected by the drastic changes in temperature. It was good and predictable in the day but as soon as the sun went down it was crazy.
