Hello to all from Ransomville

I have been lurking on here for awhile and figure it’s about time I introduce myself. I have lived in the Ransomville/Wilson area pretty much my whole life. I am into British cars, diesel trucks, and classic UJM bikes (am I a sadist or what!). I have a 1983 ZX1100 dragbike that will hopefully see more track time this year. Motorcycles are my first love and I have a garage full of them. The current stable of bikes: 1983 Goldwing, 1982 Yamaha Vision, 1980 GS750, 1975 CB500T Bobber and the dragbike. I do all the wrenching on my stuff myself. I am a good welder and fabricator and have a couple welders in the shop. I have built about 8 bikes over the years but I tend to get bored of them once they’re finished so I sell them to get something else.

Yep, that is a bike towing a bike and I love it! You would not believe the looks I get when doing this, you’d think I was driving a Ferrari! I will start a thread in the bike section detailing my escapades in further detail. I am also trying to put a 1978 TR7 back together. The interior of the car is bad so if anybody has TR7 parts(ha ha wishfull thinking) hit me up. I want to find a nice mid 70’s to 80’s XJ6 eventually but I have too much going on right now. Hope to meet more people with similar interests on here. TTFN

I like that you refer to yourself in the 3rd person.

You too Genaro, we should do some riding this summer. Thanks for the welcome all.

Anyone introduce him to Nick yet? They’re two peas in a pod.

Welcome aboard!

I love British cars too. Welcome to the forum.

It’s hard to not like a Lotus! I drove a Europa many moons ago. It was hard on the eyes but magic on the road!

+1. Welcome!
