HELP: Broken rear toe rod bolt : where to buy replacement?

Know what? I suggest others to go and try to remove their camber bolts.

When I’m giving so much force as to twist the nut off the tip of the
nut, you kind of have an idea just how much I’m ‘giving’.

You might want to put some thought before you say something stupid like
that in the future. :squint:

And yes I tried other places but this is a specific bolt and you can’t just
use the one from Home Depot.

Where did it break on the bolt/nut Phil? On both of mine, it broke at the
tip because the washer was seized with the nut so turning the nut just
twisted the bolt tip.

Lucky for you it’s in the weekday. I had to wait through the weekend and
long weekend holiday.

BTW, Are you going to prep it in some way to avoid future rust? I mean I
doubt any rust in the next few years will affect it (considering two of mine
survived even after 12yrs). But it doesn’t hurt to prep.

I just dabbed a crap load of grease all over the nut.

Anti Seize?

Bolts get old, rust, they snap…

If you’re planning on keeping the car, and doing another allignment in the future, just keep the new bolts/nuts as they are.

Shit, I forget what that gel is called, but instead of putting locktite or anti-seize, there’s a special gel (I’ll try to find out the name tomorrow) that’ll keep moisture out and prevent the bolt to seize. Just found out about it the other day, used it when I replaced my spark plugs. Supposed to work real good… but I guess only time will tell.

Some pictures and info for those that need more answers.
