looking to get some wheels for girlfriends car.
Pattern is 5 x 114.3

looking for opinions on what wheels to get, mainly 16 or 17 inch wheels

I personally think gunmetal w/polished lip looks great on silver.
we dont want anything tooo flashy, just help me find a nice set for a decent price. thanks

that car is soooooooooooooo ugly.

i think the stockers would look fine powdercoated with the silver lip.

lol i thought the same thing at first but it’s grown on me, its a nicely performing/ comfortable car for 21k.

we were also thinking of just picking up some Si wheels

she wants to trade it in on a blue Si but i think payments and trade in will kill her

not lowering it, if we get 17 inch wheels we’ll get 215/45/17 (which is the stock size the civic Si uses and it doesnt look like 4wd with 17’s) and not some loooow profile rubber bands

just my opinion but

i think a lowered car on stockers looks better than stock suspension on aftermarkets.

I agree! but the civic has such a low stance that when you put 17’s on with 215/45/17 it doesnt look like a 4wd… here are some pics of a civic with stock suspension and 17’s

Besides correct me if i’m wrong but doesnt the si have diffrent suspension than the ex?? i’m assuming the si sits a little lower??

different spring rates thats about it from what i read… sits the same height.

be a man… :rofl: its not my car i dont make the choices…

but if it were my car i would buy the HFP suspension kit.
its her car and she doesnt want it lowered.

it sits like .1-.2 inches lower so you wouldnt ever notice the difference

Have you guys heard of discounttiredirect.com? They sell wheels pretty decently priced and they have a little car generator thing that you can put in what car you drive and switch the wheels on it through there so you can see what they would look like.
