Would be going on a 06 Silver Civic.

what do you think of them?

nice, do they have gunmetal???

Not bad.

yes, however I dont like the look of gunmetal on her color civic… I think a Hyperblack (Light gunmetal) wheel looks really good on the civic’s silver

I can get those above in 17 Inch for $475 Shipped

Hyperblack:

$509 Shipped

I say go with a darker shade, but as far as the rims themselves…it looks too much like wheels at Pepboys that too many people are running (poorly at that). Check out MBMotoring wheels…they have a Work Meister copy that’ll look perfect on that shade of silver.

cant find the meister copy. only these

which I like but dunno about on her car.

Im even thinking about 18’s in the back of my head… but didnt know how it would look since we’re not lowering the car.
Someone on 8thcivic sent me these.

Stock suspension and the wheel well gap looks fine… ( looks like a little less gap then on the stock wheels. its tempting.

ewww

A polished lip on a contrasting wheel actually makes your wheels look much SMALLER. The body style of the 8th gen does not lend itself well to this type of wheel because of the flares. At first glance that last pic looks almost like whitewalls!

You can almost never go wrong with a 5 spoke but seriously save up for something that is worth it (at least some convincing knockoffs). Look at all the people selling beat 17s and 18s, they are constantly here or on Craigslist. Everyone has them, no one with any sense really wants them. This is why they are available at Pep Boys.

Those pics from 8thcivic look super mediocre, it says “I just bought an $800 wheel and tire package, do you know where I can get a good deal on some seat covers?”

I am not a fan.

my vote /\

OOEM or volks

thinkin those too.

Hell i might just get them in 16’s, swap the tires over, and put snow tires on the stockers lol

lower the dam thing before you put wheels on it and im going to have to agree with joe on this one oem or volks

hell motegi’s would be cooler then those wheels lol :bowrofl:

it will not be lowered. not my car and I dont make the decision on lowering. she does not want it lowered…

If we get 17’s then we’re putting 215/45/17’s on the wheels. ( which is the exact same size the stock Si uses) the car will have the same stance and height as the Si, which doesnt look bad at all

I don’t like that pic of the other civic you posted. Looks too pepboy-ish. The wheels look cheap, and the matching color with polished lip looks bad IMHO. The MB’s (either of them) in 18’s would look incredible on her silver car.

atleast go with a 225 45 they wont rub at all on stock height hell mine barely rub and my car is low and i have one of the widest 225 45 you can get

225 is just a tad bit wider and only a tiny tiny bit taller. theres mostly no difference other then price

if u were to get them id get chrome gun metal just looks dirty with a black car but nice rim
