Hey Lethbridge peeps

Is Going to the Sun Hwy worth the trip from Lethbridge? I’m going to be visiting my cousin this summer and I’d like to go south for a daytrip at some point.

ummmmm YES. The sun road is about 1hr and 45 mins away from leth. I go on that road over a duzzon times a year. My grandparents have a cabin on the other side in Montana so ive been doing the trip since I was born. If you go over the sun road Id make it more than a day trip and maby stay the night camping near flathead lake or even swan lake. There is always a perty on a weekend at the local campgrounds and if your drunk you should have no problem fitting in with the montana bitches!!! Actually most likely theyre not from around either and they think a canadian voice is hot and melts panties  Plus if you get up early you can find someone to go water skiiing with most the time. Just say your canadian and theyre either wanting to shoot you or they will ivite you on the boat.

Well I don’t drink, and I don’t care much for camping. Still worth it just for the drive?

How bad is the traffic in the summer?

summer is crazy traffic!!! during the day it can take you 2 hrs to do 30 miles but its not just the drive thats fun. I like to ge out and have a snow ball fight with a mountian lion or a elk. Soo much wild life. I stop a few times I go. By aug the snow is all melted. Also at the top of the pass there is a visitor center. You can stop there and hike about 4km’s to a lake called hidden lake. Theyre’s good fishing there and its a fun hike. Then once you get to the bottom of the mountian there is a big lake on your right hand side called lake McDonald. There is a very old hotel there thats pretty sweet to walk around in. After you pass the hotel thats on the same side of the lake you will come to a 3 way stop, you will turn left there to go to west glaisure. Its a little tourest town pretty much but if you turn right onto the hwy after the town you wil see white water rafting, hellicopture toures, house of mistury, go carts, mini golf, human maze, drive in with the bears, B-Ball courts, bumper boats and lots of huckelberry shanties and buffalow jerky

What do you like?? Wow that is wierd and unfortunate.

Go early morning. If you can get there before 8am I think it is free. I went to school at U of Leth and used to take my motorcycle to montana and logan’s pass quite often.

It is a nice road, beautiful views. Its not for going fast, or sweet curves, but its nice to drive 30Km/h and look over the edge.

if you go for an early 3am battle you can get through it in 15 min’s.

I have a pass for the park. I loan it to people all the time. just have to lick my name off and write your own and you can get by. Let me know if you need to barrow it. I dont mind if its just for a day or 2. But ya before 7am and after 11pm theres nobody at the gates but there is always a patrole officer and they will pull you over and make you pay. It says at the entrance to pay in the box if theres nobody there. Ive been stoped before so ya thats how I know. I cant believe you dont like camping either!!!

A motorbike would beee sooo much fun out there. Its nice to go in my convertible too next to the weaping wall in early july. Get nice and wet

hahaha I’m glad I was never stopped, I just assumed it was free because no one was there and I whipped in on my motorcycle! haha I guess I should read signs more closely…
