Hicas suspension question.

I’ve been researching over internet for struts for my '92 s13 and it looks like there’s a difference between Hicas equipped and non-Hicas equipped S13s. I’m pretty sure that the strut has nothing to do with the 4-wheel steering but vendors seem to have their struts labelled as “w/ Hicas” and “exc. Hicas”.

Can someone please clarify this for me before I buy some parts that I can’t even use?

they are the exact same, i have both a hicas and non hicas s13, struts are interchangable

FYI my non hicas car currently has the old hicas struts on it cause they were shitty and my hicas has the old non hicas struts on it cause they are mint

HICAS cars came with a slightly stiffer spring rate, and bigger rear anti-roll bars
