This is a great thread.

2008 was a good year, probably the best ever for me.
-mets lots of new people
-started partying hard and sober
-got my s12
-met great new friends
-lost my mind

2009
-meet more girls
-rape less girls i meet
-track day attendance
-regain my sanity

2008 was meh for me

-Didn’t party as much
-Lost a few friends, had one die
-Work sucked, so I was mostly poor
-Everyone has a car but me
-Summer was ok. Got to skate a lot.
-Womens were good to me

2009:

-Get my 240sx and start attending meets
-Attend AutoX events
-Work tons. Actually, get a new job.
-I hope womens will still be good to me
-Just have an all around relaxing year
-And of course, meet more people

2008:
-no speeding tickets
-finally able to get drunk legally
-passed first year of university
-officially learned manual
-got my first 240
-had sex in my 240 on Christmas Day

2008:

  • turned 21
  • rolled a jeep grand cherokee on the 400
  • drifted a slammed 350z around shannonville
  • became a professional driver
  • learned how to build engines and built a race car
  • qualified and drove every single round of 2008 DMCC, finished 11th in my first year of the canadian championship
  • drifted my truck with a beer in my hand at 3am in a grass field in quebec
  • drove all over canada with my truck, trailer, race car and friends/team mates
  • pulled a motor, picked up a block, swapped head and all components onto it, dropped it back in, and drove to quebec city in 6 days
  • met alot of amazing people, went to alot of great parties
  • went to cali, watched the redbull wdc, drove all over los angeles checked out all the shit
  • went 6 times on an airplane (maybe not alot for you, but that’s alot for me)
  • met alot of new friends back home
  • sr swapped my daily driver in -15 degree weather via 3 all nighters in december
  • almost finished college
  • 6 years with my gf
  • was trashed entering 2009
  • drifted my truck with 7 people in the cab around a 1/4mile long curve in the snow multiple times (edit: nvm this was in 2009 already)
  • other stuff I forgot

2009:

2008

  • asked out my current gf :slight_smile:
  • started building on my 240
  • lost a job I worked @ for 2yrs
  • got another over the summer
  • met lots of new people, became friends
  • went to a lot of parties around Vaughan, Thornhill, forests, etc…
  • gave it up to my gf<3
  • did lots of naughty, kinky things…still doing them! ;)hehe

2009

  • Find a well paying stable job
  • Pay off any small debt
  • Keep it strong with my gf (1yr+ going)
  • Become more buff, more active
  • Tune\Work on my car more
  • Become a better Christian
  • Finish off College, go into next step…

2008 was one of my best years, learned and matured a lot.

2008 (not necessarily sequnetial)

  • (Dec 2007 / Jan 2008 ) MSSC officially closes
  • Moving into the new condo
  • Half decent part time job at EB-Games (cloverdale)
  • bending a piston rod in the SR
  • tearing apart the SR
  • Not putting SR backtogether (as of 2009)
  • Putting 280Z in storrage
  • MSSC clears out all old stock from trailer (to my dad’s garage… )
  • Driving the RX-7 FB all summer with high gas prices
  • New laptop
  • Picked up 87 Mercedes 300SDL for winter beater
  • Got a T-Fal self filtering deep frier for x-mas (getting fatter)

2009

  • Started kung fu
  • Aquired parts to assemble SR
  • Started Welding nightschool

To Do 2009

  • Finally finish and DRIVE my 240 for more than 3 days out of the 5 years I’ve owned it.
  • Maybe sell the FB depends on gas prices.
  • Maybe travel to China on training tour
  • Finish Tig Welding qualification with CWB
  • Attend and Participate in track days, now that I’ve a trailer. :smiley:
