can i call u daddy beck from now on…
I built a couple on summer break when i was in high school… they were silly cheap.
We could frame a house in a weekend if the money was right. My first time with a nailgun was on someone’s house.
The same house someone fell into the basement and broke something. lol.
How long you’ve had your job plays a huge role in how much the bank will trust you.
i’m tired of HOW SHOULD I SPEND MY SICK!!! SALARY Beck threads.
Id buy the one with the bigger garage… so my neon/isf/zo6/etc etc could be garaged.
Beck - What was your gross for 2008?
I’m just gonna come right out and ask, it sounds like you’ve said it on the forum already, I must have missed it.
^ aint that the truth.
see his custom title.
27k
already trying to rent out rooms in his “house”
I live about a mile into pendleton from the transit drive in.I personally couldnt imagine living anywhere else as i hate crowded streets/areas.
Your talking half hour commute to dtown buffalo. I enjoy it out here. You can get anywhere in a realtive short time and everything you really need is on transit.
I cant think of any developments in lockport.where is this one located to be exact?
Jot down what you want in a house. Put checks next to what each one brings to the table.
Me personally would take an older house with more character than a development house (I can’t stand housing developments). I also would rather prefer to live out in the middle of nowhere than around neighbors…
Links to houses? I’m sure if we see what they look like you will get an answer fast. I wish 250k could get me something decent here…
hahaha
250k might get you into the projects out there…
A house should never be considered an investment.
I think you’re confusing house and car…
choice #2 if it were me.
I am very anti-taxes in WNY/Erie County. One reason why I will be building OUT of state.
IMO, the only reason you would consider House #1 is for resale to a family with young childeren. Besides that, I would put your current situtation and a 5-year future look ahead as a priority for your decision.
:picard:
Isn’t your father a builder? Why the hell would you ever buy a used house?
I bought my house because it was relatively cheap. It still needs a lot more work.
Make sure you try and find out about the neighbors too. Shitty neighbors can make for you hating your house.
But… if your enough of an ass, maybe they will move away
sorry should not be looked at completely be an investment as your primary residence.
lol, im curious as to what you consider it then…
