Im traditional. I voted for A but I also wouldn’t mind D.
C looks sweet, its like a K&N filter LOL, but D is the most inconspicuous.
That shit would get jacked in a city.
In terms of Design, I like C because it is very simple.
But, as a homeowner, I would be more concerned with function over form.
If one less aesthetic unit functions better than 4 pretty ones, screw my neighbors.
Make sure you run the economics for us. Noise, cost, performance, etc…
I would love one of those cylindrical ones on my house… I catch a lot of wind from the land behind me.

Read the original post. I have the specs on these types of designs, but that isn’t why I put up a poll. We already have our priorities ranked. Esthetics does not top the list, but they are still important and it’s nice to have an actual survey behind our decisions.
I voted on aestheitcs
But it is impossible for me to judge things w/o thinking about function
Solar shingles look pretty cool already.
Edit: what kind of population are you trying to sample that makes an NYSpeed poll
relevant
yeah seriously, i’d be very careful with a crowd who finds these to be the epitome of aesthetically pleasing automobiles.
Meh, it’s just good #'s to have for our presentations. The decision here will only slightly weigh in for which design we choose.
i would pick C, because many buildings have them on their roofs as a form of heat dispersion right? or whatever they are used for…
it wouldnt look out of the ordinary
