Could someone double check this to make sure I didn’t make a mistake? Thanks!
jesus just looking at that for 5 seconds gave me a headache.
X2, that’s all way over my head
yes its right.
wires are overrated, go wireless.
Thanks, just wanted to make sure.
looks like it’ll work, what is the need for multiple switches on the garage lights?
One entrance to the “garage” is from the finished basement (where the current switch is), and the other is through the garage door to the side yard driveway. I want to be able to turn the lights off if I’m exiting through the garage door.
The nec (national electric code) says whenever you enter a room there must be a switch to turn on a over head light or a switched receptacle.
You may want to consider using infrared sensors in place of the garage switches. I have these in my garage and laundry room. It’s nice in the garage, because when i pull the car in at night the lights comeon automatically. The wimpy little light in the opener comes on too, but i like the overheads coming on. Plus, i have them set so that if i am out of the garage for more than 5 minutes, they shut off.
