I started pulling this motor apart for a swap but ended up selling the car it was going into.
I have a D16Y8 SOHC VTEC engine partially disassembled but mostly complete and on an engine stand. So far I just have the head off, the bottom end is all still assembled. I have everything I removed bagged and labeled. I’m not sure of the mileage of any of the parts but so far they all look to be in pretty good shape and I haven’t found any cracks or anything. They are pretty dirty though. There’s a little carbon buildup on the pistons.
This is a really easy and CHEAP motor to swap in an older Honda.

Intake manifold (auto) with fuel rail $40
