Hookup on Suzuki bike parts?

Anyone have a hookup on bike parts?

I need a clutch lever.

I would like to get a set of matching black levers, but one replacement would do the trick.

Any pointers would be great.

Clutch levers are like $10, nearly all suzukis use the same lever. One doesn’t really need a hookup. Go to the dealer. Go to ebay. Or search the internet. Yet another fine example of “why the fuck are people so lazy”.

I know what a stupid concept. Asking for advice/input on an automotive forum that has plenty of extremely knowledgeable bike riders. Jesus Josh what where you thinking?!

This is the type of question that would be answered easily with about 3 minutes worth of effort… as opposed to waiting all day for an answer.

How pray-tell is this a better method?

O look, I can find the asnwer quicker than another dim-witted reply can be posted!

Speaking of free, had this thread been less douche-baggy in nature, I have two suzuki clutch levers in my garage I happily would have given away, no longer having any suzukis.

I had done some searching on the interweb, but I was looking for something a little closer to home, and the ability to get it quickly.

I know I can get a new one from Bert’s for like $15, but I know the dealer list price is $8. I was just wondering if anyone could get me it for $8.

Or I would have also liked to receive a matching set in Black if someone had them cheap.

Another reason I posted this is because I also may be needing the bracket that the Left side peg mounts to. I might be able to make a set at work, but the one I have got weak and is developing a crack. Most dealers want $100+ for them. So I just wanted to see if anyone had good luck with buying these parts online or from a local vender.

I haven’t ever bought bike parts and was looking for places with good prices, parts in stock, and possible someone from here that could own / work at a place.

I’d rather have a local guy get my money then some cheap knock offs.

Sorry or the inconvenience.

what model bike did you buy?

Its originalsin’s old bike, which was passed to Don, which I purchased.

It is a 1997 GSF600 aka Bandit.

If someone has one I’ll gladly take it off their hands, $$, hug, or six pack for trade.

Thanks guys.

Will need these 2 parts: (If I can’t fab up a peg bracket at work.)

 for Walter. You provided such a useful answer. Don’t be s quick to jump then gun and think everyone else is inferior to you on the intelligence level. Maybe you don’t actually know everything! :ohnoes:

Maybe you should have started out by asking if he searched on the internet and provide some insight instead of being a prick first then provide what you thought to be the obvious solutions, which were clearly the exact opposite of what he was looking for.

You do hate the Yankees however, so i can’t despise you completely.

Maybe you should know your role instead of being a whiney bitch.

I may actually have the rear sets. I’ll look in my parts bin and let you know what is sitting around however I think all of those went with the bike.

EBAY. / thread

I love it, you are always trying to get something for a deal. There is nothing wrong with that, I dont believe in paying full price either.

Yah, I’m cheap when I can get away with it.:wiggle:
