I have a hard time posting anything, because that is usually the only time I EVER look at the actual sections on the main page, lol, and I have to figure out the best place to put the post.
I voted “new posts” … I don’t use it that way 100% but its nowhere near enough to say that I use both

pretty much always use new posts.
I generally jump straight to the claasifides, then the other forums starting with Gen Auto and work my way to Off Topic last.
I think you have a flawed method of polling for this topic.
If people just browse the forum they may not click on member feedback. I know that before I started clicking “new posts” I would never look at certain categories(feedback, nerd corner, lifestyles, etc). So… my guess is that more people are likely to view this thread because it popped up as a “new post” rather than by clicking on “Member Feedback” while browsing the forum.

considering it’s the 2nd subforum, and always on top in that subforum, that’s probably how they saw it… that’s why i clicked it
When i log in i usually check my threads to see if anyone posted, and then i go thru each individual subforum to see what threads there are that have new posts, because i usually stay in general auto and the “speed forums” or w/e they’re called now
