Is there any way to get the new posts to keep a running tally for all threads, not just ones I havent viewed? So there is like a page 1,2,etc of threads listed in order.
I lurk on e46fanatics, and they appear to have the same forum code…

Theirs works the same as ours afaik. They may have more threads and you may be more active here which by a database entry tells the “Get New” where to cut off.
no, if I hit the new post button at 4 am Ill get 4 threads, not the 4 ones I havent read plus all the old ones I never cared to look at…

nope. Editing is on a forum by forum basis. We have it off in here.
How about a My Post option next to new post? We have this on another forum. It automatically searches your name and shows your new post in thread view.
you can do that by going through the statistics page if you click on your name
“threads started by this user”
It’d be nice to have it write at the top of the page though.
NEWPOST SHOULD BE ALL THREADS THAT HAVE BEEN ACTIVE SINCE YOUR LAST HASH. REGARLESS OF WETHER YOU WANT TO LOOK AT THEM OR NOT…?

It would just ne nice to be able to have all posts listed in order regardless if I have seen them or not. Its possible to do it inside each sub forum, but not all mixed together ya know?
