Was talking with my gf’s aunt and uncle today and this happened 2x while they were on a trip to and from Arkansas.
PPL dying while changing their tires. Apparently it’s all the rage to change tires in the middle of the road… don’t wait to get to a median or somewhere safe… stop where you are… get out and change a tire.
Victim one… Changing tire on interstate, gets clobbered by 18 wheeler… end of story.
Guy two changing tire near median of a road like sheridan… gets pinballed by multiple cars then hit by 18 wheeler… End of story.
I find this odd especially after the news story of the boyscout van where something simliar happened… Maybe the car manufacturers can get sued for not putting a yellow warning on the jack that says… DONT DO THIS IN A TRAFFIC LANE YOU RETARDED SON-OF-A-BITCH. Along with all the other warnings that seem like common sense to me.
