Especially when they had competition like the prelude 200hp, GTI VR6 175hp, talon/eclipse 210hp etc all for about the same price. Also all those cars are safe for an average person to drive year round (AWD/FWD). I wouldnt let my mom drive my car even in the rain. Just imagine your mom controlling a drift in the rain LOL
