for you guys that bought and did HUD upgrades how much did you pay for them?
they go for under $200 for the cluster and sender wi/ harness usually but if you ask me they should be more expensive than that.
i wouldnt even want to drive a 240sx without it and they ALWAYS go and it is hard to find one that works well

well yeah im asking casue im trying to sell mine and i want to know much to ask. it works 110% i have a lot of ppl that can vouch for that as seeing it at meets. i just want ot know what i should charge for a totally mint one without feeling like i ripped a fellow 240 enthusist off
nissan hud is worthless, it wont go past 200 and its still inaccurate like the stock gauge
but it does look baller 8)
Out of curiosity, how much of bitch is to to swap the HUD to a fastback. Aside from the wiring and all, does the entire dash have to be changed?
Nope. For the digital cluster you just need the subharness and the cluster drops right in.
If you want the actual hud you need to get the HUD unit and mount it as well as cut a hole in the dash for the projector.
Also, if you WANT, you can put some kind of film to reflect the numbers better but this is strictly optional.
