How rare are my sideskirts?

Whenever I post pics on american based 240 forums I get a million PMs asking what sides and rear I have. Are these OEM sides and rear THAT rare? I know I’ve seen a couple other S13s in town with them.

Funny thing too is that they are made in Austia. Go figure. OEM Japanese parts made in Europe.

They are really quite rare now. You can’t buy them new. You see the odd old lady in a 240 with them. But ask some of the guys on here how hard they have tried to find some.

lol so true … its always the odd old people with old mint sports cars …

and yea, OEM kits are rare… they are best too, perfectly flows with the car and such…

gotta get mines fixed

They are fairly rare here in Canada and in town for sure as I dont see them very often on 240sx driving around …partly because most of the ones I see are 89/90 models that didnt have the factory kit option…

s14 sideskirts are rare …

which sideskirts are you talking about, oem hicas sideskirts? if so I have some and rob will have some right away as soon as I send him his pair that I picked up from that kid that tried to rip him off.

Were they a factory option? Or dealer installed?

Pretty sure my sideskirts and rear valance are both stock. check em out, are they the same as yours? http://www.cardomain.com/ride/735081

if we are talking bout the hicas skirts then they are factory option. only if you choose to have the hicas.

i just got a set of s14 skirts now.

yea they are very hard to find.

My car came with them but the first ower took them off cuz she thought it made the car too low. And threw them out :E

But now have some again

Yup. Same as mine.

LeRenard : Very nice choice on gp front bumper and beautiful color. Where did you get your paintjob done and how much it cost ? if u dont mind me asking …

it costed more than I would like to admit, and it wasn’t done to perfection, the front and rear bumpers are both bubbling, and the a-holes are refusing to fix it. Oh well, I guess I’ll just sand them myself and get another paint shop to spray them.

OEM skirts rule. Fitment is perfect, durable plastic so they won’t shatter, plus they don’t look too aggressive like some kits. Nice clean look like it came from the factory that way. Le Renard, car looks good, just need to lower a bit :stuck_out_tongue:

i got my OEM skirts for $100! i feel so lucky.

I got raped lol, but I guess you gotta pay to play.
