How to check injecter plug? or can i use a diffrent injecter

how would i check of the injecter is getting a pulse from the harness?
or rather how would i check to see if the plug is working?

as well is it possable to use a OEM S14 SR20DET injecter in a S13 SR20DET redtop?

go to any mechanic shop they have a little pulse light that plugs in right into the harness and will pulsate if its working right, if not you can aways use a multimeter, both wires will get a 12v+ and one gets grounded out to create the electric loop.

Perform a continuity test on the injector. If it shows no continuity, it’s dead.

SR injectors are 370cc compared to the KA 270cc’s. So you have to use some type of fuel controller to reduce the fuel by 33%

thus the oem S14 SR20DET injecters are more then 370CC so because it is more can i use it with a S13 SR20DET redtop which was my question

I don’t think he read your post correctly, b/c he compared the KA and the SR injectors thinking you have a KA in your car. From what I’ve read on some aussie boards, the blacktop injector should go in your redtop with no probs.

They are both 370cc injectors. You should not have a problem.

i was under the impression that the S14 SR20DET OEM injecters where larger then 370CC?

Sorry, I misread your post earlier.

S14 is S13 injectors are both 370cc. Only S15’s have larger sidefeeds rated at 480cc
