I’d like to save a few of these pictures, but the site is copyright protected.
I’m NOT going to reproduce these pics I just want to save them to my computer.
it doesn’t matter if you are going to reproduce them, you are an epic douche for not supporting the photographer that took them and deserve a special place in hell. If they were meant for open distribution, they would not be CW protected. And if you knew the owner well enough to use them anyway, you’d just email them and ask for the full resolution shot.
It is good enough that he wants it isn’t it? The guy standing in the mud for 8 hours isn’t worth something? What a bunch of douchebags.
If the photo sucked, he wouldn’t want it. He does, that means it is worth something. I want a Ferrari but dont’ feel like paying $200k, should I just steal it because I only think it is worth $50k?
So stealing from your sister is the same as the RIAA? :fuckingmoron:
let’s think about it this way.
An individual that is typically an enthusiast of the sport they are there photographing, comes out and works in the sun all day taking thousands of pictures. People get interesting shots their moron friends would never capture. This person is more often than not, not even coming close to breaking even when you consider the cost of their gear, but typically doing it because they enjoy the group they are there supporting, enjoy photography as a hobby, and find it an interesting way to make some extra coin.
What happens when you steal their photos? Well, eventually its not worth their time at all, and no one comers out to take pictures of your faggot ass in a green suit speeding around in the mud.
Quite frankly, I find stealing from people like this far more disgusting as each one that I have known is sacrificing to be there to support you, and is a great person. Its the reason I have a pile of CDs from track events that ran between $50-100 a piece when I typically only like one or two photos per CD. If you are too much of a faggot and a douche bag to support someone like this that comes out to support you, then perhaps you should cut back on the extras and just go rawdog with your boyfriend next time he is pounding you in the ass.
And by the way, the owner is only asking $5 for the photo… If that is too rich for your blood, buy a print for $1 and scan it. Can’t afford a dollar? You must be a real winner. :bloated:
Dude, I am just saying that it’s all copyright infringement. Big or little. You sit here and say one is less of a crime than another. I have done it myself a ton of times but I don’t sit here and try and justify one type over the other. The internet has nothing to do with it, it is called common sense.
Why the link to that post by the way ? What’s it got to do with this ?
In my mind, its far more personal. I have met several of the people that do this for these organizations and feel its ridiculous when someone won’t pony up $5 for something that they want.
Would you not be posting left and right if someone told Onyx they would pay him after the track day for their entry fee and then didn’t? Same thing.
No biggie, moral of the day " Every time sedlmeier101 posts, the undeniable proof that he is a worthless waste of oxygen becomes even more irrefutable"
You are such a fucking douche bag. go fuck your self, then when you are done, grab the closest blunt object and beat your head in, until it pops, because thats all that is in there, is air.
TO the others, I simply wanted a few pictures to update my bike bike thread and show others that I actually do race it
BTW, I won both my classes that day. Minglor, how did you do that??
