i try to delete it and it keeps saying please restart your browser. and that it will be uninstalled when i restart the browser. well i did that along with restarting the whole computer and i got nothing. i hate this thing. someone tell me how to make it go away
Quickly thinking…
I believe its control panel > add remove programs
you can get it off your broser by hiding it… go to view --> toolbars --> uncheck yahoo
hiding it? pardon my Internet Explorer stupidity but why hide it when you can just uninstall it

just offering another solution – your method is best practices
 Alternatives are key. I just was really unsure if actually hiding it in IE would actually get rid of it. Then I thought about it, but maybe he wants the pop up blocking ability…
he also said that he tried to uninstall but it wont actually remove.
if you’re using internet explorer try this
under tools -----> internet options ----> click on the advanced tab ----> scroll down and un-check the box that says 'enable third party browser extentions(requires restart) – click apply — ok — restart!
im using firefox
Firefox > Tools > Add-Ons, Check all the tabs, next too everything installed is usually an UNINSTALL button =]
