I remember hackthisbox and such when you could actually compete against teams back in high school. that was the true test. first team to root the box and post a web page with your team name wins.

Level 1 isn’t the same for everyone.
The password was “null” when I just loaded it up.
How is this a “hacker test?”
I got bored after like the 8th one when all they are is “Find the password in the source code”
I don’t know of any websites which require passwords that actually have the passwords hidden in the site code! How :picard: …
lol, a more accurate hacker test would be “download this plug and play C++ script and put a DoS attack on these sites.” Seems to be the preferred method these days.

I posted hackertest because its semi easy/time killer…let me know how far you get on the one I just posted.
I assume you mean download some C++ botnet code compile it…Package it in some installer, spread it around the internet and DDoS some sites?
