i loved work tonight

I worked 3pm tues till 430am weds,
had to go down rodgersville pa ( some hick town near waynesburg)
to swap batteries and stands at a little hut under a cell phone tower for verison. left the warehouse at 330 and got down there at 5 cuz we stopped to eat, then we had to wait till 8 to meet up with some guy, we get there and move 20 batteries (150lbs a peice) into the little hut, took 20 mins so it was like 830, then they couldnt do the swap till 1 am cuz thats when people dont use their cell phones the most. so i got to sleep for 16 bucks an hour from 830 till 130  we left there at about 2 then slept the way home and moved a 2800lb stand with the batteries in it into the warehouse. then i left and came home, its now 5am, work was sooo much fun tonight :bowrofl:

and the real kicker!!! i have about 300lbs of 00 gauge wire in the back of my car  im going to burn all the sleath off tomorrow and take it down to bethel metals, bare copper there is around $1.00 a lb   its going towards the turbo kit fund hehe

im leavin now to go strip down the wires, probably gonna take me till 2 or 230. its gonna be the hardest i’ve worked hehe

sweet…sounds good!!!

ya i worked for like a total of 1 hour out of the 13 and a half

who do you work for

oh yea -48 volt battery rooms are the shit

vtecsol…guessing by this quote

ya i worked for like a total of 1 hour out of the 13 and a half

i’d say…penndot? :op:

 i wish,

i work for south hills movers.

i was talking to the guy that runs the business that swaps and makes those battery rooms, and he said i could come work with him and give it a try, his worker that was with him never went to school, he just learned off him and now is making 70k a year. i’ve always liked electrical wireing and stuff like that, hmmm maybe i’ll give it a try sometime

bring that wire out the house and burn it off … quicker then stripping it … toss it in the fire pit and light it up … there is kero in the big tank on the side

i already stripped it, thats 289 bucks more to the turbo fund

yea basically anything that is telecom related runs off of -48 volts and there is a ton of money in it … its more of a single guys job because there is so much travel involved but def a good way to make money
