I may just dish out the $$$ this summer

orgasmic

big sticky tires

 rock it

my god that sounds BADASS

I may, after I install this preliminary shit, I will see where I stand and go from there. This is a VERY good possibility this summer…This sucks, I promised I would not be molesting her and here I am looking into blowers.:roll2:

I said the same thing yesterday, but i was talking about a 14 year old girl!

hey, same here

with those TT vipers running around this summer, you won’t wanna be the slow one, do ya? :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t worry Mike you can show em how it is done

Just wondering, but did you buy your viper from Dan? Because I was talking to this guy at work(garret) and he said that the only 2 that were around here last time he knew were dan’s and his.

:word:

DO IT

No, I bought mine from a private owner from Nashville.

O, is Dan’s old one still in this state or is that thing gone?

Last time I heard, NYC.

LOL!

I just saw this thread…

Mark, Please deposit a dollar to my “I told you so; Dan’s Second Viper Account”.

Man… how that account seems to be growing! And you thought I was being sarcastic when I told you if I had a dollar for every time I heard a Viper owner say “I have enough horsepower” or “I wont mod this car” I would have two Vipers.
You just contributed!:lolham:

You had better decide what TYPE of blower you want to go with though. Yeah, the Roe SC sounds cool, but it has its fair share of issues- as do the Paxtons, they arent perfect either. I could get a Roe blower running right at this point with all of the new equipment, but it does have inherent flaws… it all depends what you are looking for in the long run.

The BIGGEST thing I can think of that will influence your case is how I know you like to take LONG drives. The Roe SC’s cant be intercooled, and need a W/M system. Carrying W/M with you can be a pain in the ass for long trips. The Paxton is intercooled, and is a Air:Water:Air IC.

Basic Breakdown:

Pluses ROE:

-no belt tightening
-simplistic in design
-massive bottem end torque
-Less parasitic loss

Negatives ROE:

-Inherent flow design flaw leading to uneven air distribution at high vaccum
-cannot be intercooled, W/M only- MUST for your piston type
-less “ability” than a paxton system. 700 RWHP is pushing the limits of the blower. diminishing returns due to fast increasing manifold temps.

Positives Paxton:

-higher horspower capability
-intercooled, no W/M
-safer for your your piston type at a given boost (W/M is not as reliable as an IC)
-less heat soak
-stock like off-boost driveability due to use of OEM manifold

Negatives Paxton:

-Frequent Belt Tightening
-Higher Parasitic Loss (hence above)
-Paxton fuel system, FMU and retard box are not up to par. will require a VEC2… which you already will have… and a new set of injectors/modified OEM injectors, which you wont.

My old car is in Long Island… Mark’s is from Tennessee.

I figured Garrett would have sold his car by now. What the hell has he been doing with it for the last 3 years…I havent seen him at all.
