I’m just gauging interest on my 1990 SOHC 240 XE. 324 xxx KM 5 speed manual. It has tokico blues all around that are still great and don’t leak still very firm, and megan lowering springs (1.9" I believe). It also has an apexi full 3" catback all stainless, megan strut tower bars front and back as well as megan traction rods. Clutch was replaced by previous owner its just a oem style replacement not a heavy duty but it does fine for a daily. I bought this car for 2400 and put $500 into the fucken thing. I got it on SON from nvmysx around last march and let me tell you its not as mint as he described it the frame needs a little work but its not like he said “immaculate” lesson learned don’t look at a car at night but over all with about $500 in metal work you can have a solid chassis. I got a quote from someone for $200 to patch the frame if you put some por15 on it and weld it will be strong, there is also some rust on the lower wheel well quarters and the rocker seem weld to the quarter has a hole.
I only drove this car for 3 months because of retarded insurance rates my company canceled my policy when they found about a ticket so I can’t really afford to drive it rite now. I also don’t have time to work on it since I’m in school and also work 40 hours a week.
Rite now I have to replace the BMC on it I have a brand new one I just need to go to my parents house and swap it out. But the car should be ready for viewing soon. I need to put the dash back in as well since i had to remove the fukn car alarm that the old owner never told me about and decided to arm when i changed the battery.
the first and last pic are the previous owners that he took a while back the darkened spots show the rust spots kind of… also must note i shaved the brake light and didn’t do the best bodywork on the trunk so there’s a few spots but looks fine from 10 feet away also i waxed my fresh painted trunk to soon and put swirl marks in it I might repaint it sincei h ave a can of kh3 super black still. Not in the biggest hurry to sell since my driving record will be clean in a few months and I may end up patching the rust and putting the sr that I have in but realistically I want to get a s14 that’s immaculate in a few months
edit: car has ray brigs clear head lamps they look sweet and are really nice at night time!
If i decide to part the car out I’ll let you know nismo! thanks for the comments so far, just FYI the car is getting insured in a week i found out my record is CLEAN on jan 22nd so i’m paying 240 a month for insurance which is a bit high but shit happens its better then my old quote of 415 which was after negotiating to fuck. I’m working on getting the bmc in and patching some rust up we’ll see how it goes in all honesty i wont go lower then 2000 if no one is interested I’m going to start the sr swap in march

its been garaged since then it hasn’t sat out all winter bud. i took the trunk off got it painted and also am cutting out the rust this week por15ing the ins and outs of all the panels + welding it up. after that the price goes up a bit. for the price I’m asking its a good deal you can go buy some other shit box on kijiji for 1500 with blown struts dying clutch knocking engine that burns oil from some lying bastard that tells you its mint or you can buy it from someone that’s straight up and doesn’t lie about the problems. This cars underbody is still pretty good no holes in the floor its just the frame and rocker easy fix.

Got the brake line made but it runs over the valve cover its not a big deal but can easily be fixed later… the car is drivable now well there was a fuel hose leak since the car sat for so long and the rubber cracked but thats getting fixed now at a shop dropped the car off last night.
