IC: s14sr with brand new harness and parts (needs to be assembled)

Just looking to see if anyone is interested in my sr that I never finished.
I bought the motor 2 years ago with blown piston rings. So far I have stripped it down and took the pistons out but the crank is still there. Purchased brand new oem nissan piston rings and one new piston because number 3 had a hairline crack
Also have brand new acl rod bearings.
Brand new.s14 black top harness uncut in box ($500 value)
It also comes with an apex metal headgasket
Arp head studs are installed
comes with the s14sr manual transmission
S14sr fly wheel
It is missing the turbo and ecu but the turbo manifold is there.
you will need to get the block checked and honed. It doesn’t look like it needs a bore but I never had,a professional shop inspect it.
Since the motor is in pieces I can assure you it will be easy to transport in a 240.
I will get some pictures later when I can get on a Pc.

$1700 assembled with machine work or $1400 as is.

Lol @ 1700 for a mystery motor missing key pieces and IN pieces. I’d value that at $500-$800 tops. Glws.

Truth

.

Well this is son majority of these kids are on welfare. Harness alone is worth 500 brand new. and the machine work can’t be more then 150-200.
Add the bearings and parts plus shipping and tax etc…i might get the machine work done with a reciept… Its missing a turbo and ecu not sure how that is majority of parts missing.

Also karkas if you can’t even spell cylinder correctly then why would anyone listen to your rant/advice. You dont bore a block when you do new rings idiot.
I, will fix my post when I get on a PC tonight…hell I’ll even send the block out this week

Just another point I would like to make its not a mystery motor if you can see the inside I doubt anyone is going to crack a motor open to show you before you buy it

you know why I don’t take your post seriously? i almost laughed when you suggested that I get an ALUMINUM block magnafluxed. You must be smoking some good shit. you need to use a dye for aluminum

lol @ bore needed to rering a motor.

T28 = $300
ECU = $50

You said blown rings. At the very least you might get away with a quick hone and re-ringing it. If you want anything reliable you’ll pay a machine shop to do this, and if you’re smart you’ll want to get the line bore checked and have the rod/main bearings checked. I don’t know what mickey mouse machine shop you know, but good work isn’t cheap.

I’m calling this a mystery motor because anytime you buy something in pieces its just that - a mystery. Who knows what bolt you lost, what your idea of “good enough” is, or anything for that matter. Don’t come on here selling a parts motor for $300 less than what you would pay at the Importers for a complete engine and get worked up when people tell you you’re asking too much.

Anyway, good luck selling this for that money. I hope some poor 17 year old that wants an SR doesn’t buy this thinking its a deal since machine work “can’t be more then 150-200”

magnaflux is a brand you retard.
http://www.magnaflux.com/Products/PenetrantInspection/SpotcheckVisible/tabid/82/Default.aspx
mangaflux is a brand that makes inspection material (die, powder, paint, scanners, etc). they make cans that look like paint cans and can be sprayed on any material (ferrous & non-ferrous). some of the material is fluorescent sensitive, and some are just like thin paint and they make u see the cracks by not covering them.

Oh wow the hate… Listen ka24power just go dig a hole… you obviously are not interested in the motor if you are just here to bash. I’ve looked at the rod bearings and they didn’t even need to be replaced… and I also bought brand NEW ones. For $1700 for a fresh rebuilt motor tell me that’s not a deal. I’ll have some time on Saturday to send it out.

So tell me again how its not a good deal to get a fresh motor for $1700. I’m not going to take it to gord bush(he actually gave me a really cheap quote the first time) because its not local to me anymore I’ve actually arranged to take it to a machinist here. Block will be decked and honed, rings will be gaped and installed at the same time. Also all the clearances/journals will also be inspected.

So like I said if you can find a better deal show me it for a blacktop notchtop vvt sr with brand new rings and bearings + a metal head gasket and studs with a BRAND FUCKEN NEW $500 harness uncut still in the Nissan box.

Also: ka24power again shut the fuck up with the mystery motor all the bolts are organized and bagged. and I’m offering to sell the motor assembled so go ahead and cry about missing bolts when I’m offering to sell it in one piece.

Yes it is a product. magnetic particle inspection • so now tell me does a magnet stick to aluminum??

None of you guys should be talking out of your ass if you havent even seen the motor in person like i have. Ive seen all the parts and helped degreasing all the parts and cleaning. Every nut and bolt was bagged and labeled and organized. And as stated before, everything for the rebuild has been ordered brand new and is still in boxes. So if your NOT interested, DONT post. IF anybody is interested they can contact the seller for pics OR just come and see it. Most people on here are broke and just like to shit on peoples threads.
