good stuff… ill check these out, ive been wondering how to really work with what i have with my camera
why do i see a PS coming
 Paging Fuzzy
Wow thats such an awsome plane. Nice pics!
Skunk works is an interesting read.
I think the neatest fact is that the bird leaks on the ground because the fuselage is designed so that the heat is experinces during flight causes the fuselage expand to fit perfectly when it is in the air.
^ Yup, titanium skin expands so much from air-resistance-induced friction that it was designed with loose “cold” tolerances. It “weeps” fuel on the ground and is mid-air refueled soon after takeoff. Couldn’t be serviced for some time after landing, either - too hot!
nice pics
would have been better pics if you were on top of the plane running around and got vids and pics.
just an idea for NEXT time
or if the plane was on a conveyor belt and i was on the plane running around
Saw an sr-71 at the air force museum; awesome plane.
It most definitely was this book. The information the OP mentioned is right out of these pages.
I’ve wanted to go see the one the Smithsonian has since I read this. I’ll have to look into this Annex place.
