I put it where my heat controls were. Since I have no A/C and dont drive the jeep that much in the winter, I moved the head controls to the Glove Box:

The heat controls are still easy to use and get too.

Then I used some 50 cents metal pieces I found at Chase Pitkin to fab up some mounts and put the mic next to my keys:

Then I mounted the Antenna where my 3rd brake light used to be and I grounded the mount to the body for a good ground plane.

works great and I tuned it

Looks good … i think every offroader should come equiped with the trailer park cell phone … i know my bronco had one

Ian, I have a SWR meter you can borrow if you want to set up the antenna
