nobody is running one of these? i find that far fetched, never wheel without them.
also reccomend me a cheap gps, that wont leave me lost in the woods forever.
I have heard good things about the cobra 29 (http://www.amazon.com/Cobra-29-LTD-Classic-Radio/dp/B00006JPF3) I am probably going to pick one up soon, and Firestik tuneable antenna (http://www.firestik.com/). I am probably going to mount the antenna near the rear gate just above the taillight, like:
as far as offroad GPS I am not sure, check on naxja or jeepforum

I have an older Uniden that works good; and a Cobra (don’t remember the model #) that I use now for road trips. As for antennas… I’ve got a pair of 3’ Firesticks.
all you need is a cobra classic and a some cheap attenas go to jims trk stop on walden by the galleria and go shopping. They have gps there as well.
