Spangler was indeed a push rider, although he may be considered a cannonsburg local–i dunno how u would say who was a local–and who was not. As we all had our own trails and would ride at various places throughout the week. I guess i would be a 818/981 local… but we were allways riding cannonsburg, blairsville, push, etc…
Either way, all the local trails got along, and eveyone rode each others trails. Plus at the contests or bmx races–we were allways one huge ass group…
Road trips were deffinitely the best… is still remember pissing in a bottle, w/ some overflow
on the george washington bridge in the back of spangler’s mom’s mini van coming home form the last 7-11 jam in nj. that was like the last good summer of riding–as it seemed that summer all the trails got plowed, people went to college, others stopped riding, and so on.
bmx deffinitely had good times…
and habs passing a kidney stone in the middle of the ghetto with hummel puking on the gas station and habs punching u in teh head!
best rode trip ever!
