my girlfriend wants to put a touch screen in her car , but i dont know if there is any special dash kit for it like there is for just regular cd players ,its not the flip up tv either its the doubledin one, and if there is a dash kit where can i find one locally?

what kind of car??? if you have enuff room then they should make a dash kit
if the car has a double din space it just goes in like a regular cd player
if the car has a single din
then u have to find a kit online that will move some shit around for it to fit in
or go to a custom place and they can maybe make something special for your car
when I had my focus I made my own.
It was a 1.8 din head unit and I put in 2 single din units (monitor, cd player)
My double din just slid right in the Audi. I slid the cage into the dash, bent the tabs, then slid the Head unit in and it locked into place. All Done.
its a 03 tiburon gt and its most likly going to be a 6.5 or 7 inch screen something like this:

also can someone tell me if what the diffrence between a in dash that has a am/fm tuner, and am/fm receiver
