Someone has got to have one of these shoved in a drawer somewhere.
The TDI has a 30 pin MDI connector in the arm rest and my iphone has the lightning connector.
I know I can bluetooth my phone for music, but I think it sounds better using the cable, plus I enjoy being able to control the music from the head unit.
I have a bunch of cases, accessories, and an arm band for the first gen, so I am trying to stick to those. They came with a white or black face and the polished back.
Let me know what you have and what you want for it.
does it have to be a nano? i have one of the first ipods with a screen that works when it wants to, but still plays music.

I had the same problem. I just bought a 30 pin to lightning adapter at the apple store, $30 later problem is solved. You can also order a lightning MDI cord from VW.
Doesn’t have to be a nano I suppose… I just accumulated a lot of accessories over the years it would be nice to be able to use… how much you looking for?
I had thought about doing the adapter but it doesn’t look like it will work with my case on the phone, but I may end up going this route… and the MDI cable from VW has an awful connector on it… no way that is going to work with a case on it.
I’ve got a really clean, 3rd Gen, 8gb (I think) iPod Nano just laying around the house collecting dust. Let me know if that’ll work for you. The thumb wheel is a bit sensitive at times, but other than that, it worked great.
