Is it too early?

The Porsche has been driven almost 700mi in the month of Feb.

if Cossey is driving the Porsche, i see no reason why you shouldn’t be driving your car…

yeah february was an expensive month for you.

Cossey needs a new goddamn sig lol

There is a couple Porsche guys where I work, they constantly busting my nuts for garaging a vehicle worth 1/2 theirs, when they drive all year long.

They both claim salt is easier to rinse off than vagisil…

might be on to something there.

You’re telling me…

Indeed. Where’s Nicole… I need a new sig pic.

I don’t drive it in the snow or anything, but yea, the salt is easy to get off… Speaking of which I need to wash it.

take it from someone who’s dumped countless thousands of dollars into an sti… wait for the catback, install them both at the same time and tune right then.

Idk, but I wouldn’t trust a guy that had his car burn to the ground.

If I had a sti or evo that shit would be out all year around. I have fun bombing my escort through the snow, an evo or sti has got to be even more fun.

WRX thats about as fast as a Stock STi + studded snows= hella fun :excited

I can’t wait till tomorrow :clap

since when is your car " about as fast as a stock sti"

:rofl last i checked you ran 15.3 @ 92 and since then have added a downpipe and a roof rack.

dont stock stis run like 13.3 @ ~101-102?

yea around there, i think celticcitlec ran a 13.5@ 103 maybe?

ive seen bone stock sti’s run anywhere from 12.7-13.4 on average at 100-106mph depending on how good the factory tune was on the car.

next… slackj94 you are a fucking RETARD. my car burnt due to no fault of mine. i spent THOUSANDS on that car to make sure it was in proper running order. SHIT, i spent 700$ on it 3 weeks before it burnt just in maintenance and upkeep. you think i WANTED that shit to go up? you’re a fuckin clown. always have been, always will be. the fact is that i have ALOT of subaru knowledge based around this platform and im trying to help out a new owner here based on HOURS of reading, and countless hours of doing stuff to my own car as well as helping friends with theirs. i may not have the same knowledge on them as say boxersix on here but i have a wealth of knowledge that im sure you would find it hard to fathom with your fucking cock smoking high and mighty attitude.

anyways, as i was saying earlier in this thread to the OP… save the downpipe install for when you put on a catback as well. do the DP, catback, and a tune all at once and you will be MUCH happier with your purchases as you will actually feel the gains rather than piece shit together. ive been there, ive done it. theres no other way i can seem to say it… and in the mean time… save for that built motor.

Is the better option, stick with the stage 1 tune for now, do a suspension work this summer.

Then next winter pull the motor go forged, downpipe, larger turbo, fuel pump, injectors, IC… fix the factory grenade before it happens?

i PERSONALLY would leave the power adders alone and just get a “protune.” there are several places we can steer you to locally and it will still bump the useable power up significantly over any cobb tune you can buy. pm celtic1982citlec on here for more specifics as far as that goes.

buy all your suspension components and have them installed this year… these cars are a blast to drive in a proper state of tune and handling well.

lastly, dont yank the stock one til she pukes. no sense in replacing what aint broke…
even the blown up ej257 cores can be sold on nasioc and iwsti and forums like that for a premium… usually around 600-800$ for a “blown” motor.
