Does anyone know if there is a diff between gsr and type r springs and struts? Is there a diff in ride height? thanks
Yes, ITR springs sit a little lower. Cant remember offhand how much lower, maybe 3/4 inch?
ITR spring rates are higher than GSR, lower by about 40mm and have increased dampening in the struts to match the higher rates.
Without the matching sway bars it won’t make a huge difference, i.e. a GSR won’t handle like an ITR with just the springs/struts.
and if you switch to type r struts you also need the type r lower control arms in the rear. if you’re doin just the springs then you dont need the itr specific struts.
i have the itr springs on my teg, i really like them. they lower it just enough and it rides very nicely.
