IMO there’s a difference between stance, and ridiculous. The 350z he OP posted is fucking stupid… I can respect aggressive camber mixed with wide wheels and a flush look.
I love stance / hella flush. But it has it’s limits like everything else. Alot of people make it look like shit and make it look reatrded the right amount is perfect .
That z is way too much.
Honest, I still put subs in my car. Not 2 12’s or anything like that. I like my music and I like all around sound. I spent more on the speakers in the doors than the sub and amp, which usually everyone does the opposite.
I respect the amount of work that went into making this car what it is. This isn’t just done overnight, so there was definitely time and effort there. Not a fan of the product, but a fan of putting thought-out effort into what you like.

another good one http://www.battle-stance.com/index.html
most new cars have well designed stereos such that introducing aftermarket subs / source units and amplifiers throws off the OE sound stage and pretty much just makes things louder but not better. there are exceptions of course.
Exactly. When I took over the S2k, it had 2 speakers only, lower in the door where your legs would cover the sound. Those stock speakers were also blown. I decided to buy some nicer quality componnents, which I drilled out a spot on the upper part of the door panel, fit the tweeter in flush, and mounted the crossover in the door. Instead a head unit. I ran wires clean to the trunk to an amp that runs both speakers and a 8" sub that barely takes up room in the trunk/can be removed in 10 seconds. All in all, it sounds great. I’m about all around sound like I said, I hate over the top bass and or crappy speakers. I’m not much of a rap person, so if that gives you an idea. lol
it has a long history in the VW community
Most fads come and go. They start, grow, and then grow out of control. Remember bright neon windshield wipers and all the accents? Came and went. This will to. Unfortunately, this seems like an expensive fad. As long as there’s a want, there’ll be those supplying the need.
I like this one.
