I got it from a BMW dismantler in cambridge, on.

i’m gonna vote against paint to match. i don’t think it looks that bad plus, as you said, that would kill the resale. (not to mention how much it would cost to paint and hoping it matches perfectly.)
it’s a hard top on a convertible and it’s black, don’t worry about it.
Nice, I definitely like it better than the rag top.
Looks good. I agree, don’t paint to match but find a spare hood and trunk and have them painted black for 2-tone hotness.

Have you driven it in any rain yet to see if there are any leaks?
And i’m undecided…i like the old vert look. Makes sense to have for winter driving, but summer vert fun can’t be beat.

If you plan to keep the car I would paint the top to match, however I can see that it would destroy the resale value.
