2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8
2500 miles (at time of purchase, looking at 2800 now… bought it yesterday)

All of the bells and whistles (literally, bells and whistles, all of them). Can’t wait to put a hitch on it to tow the car…
or sell the car (hint … hint)

I find new gadgets in it everywhere I look! The stock tires seem to be doing OK in the snow thus far… If I need a tow out of the driveway in the morning… I have no tow hooks yet, so we’ll probably strap it to the strut brace or sway bar.

Anyone ever play with one of these before? I test drove one of the first SRT8s in WNY when they came out years ago… fell in love, and then pounced when the time was right.
Ford wouldn’t budge on their 6.4L diesels… apparently there are thousands of potential buyers looking for big expensive trucks… with over 30k miles on them.

Very nice. This was in my final 3 for a new purchase. What hitch are you doing, the Mopar Class II or rerouting the exhaust?
If you don’t mind me asking, what did you pay? Dont answer if you don’t want to but I was looking at an 07 for $27k but with 40k miles.
I played with one of these in the SS but couldnt get a good race, it walked me NA and I walked it with the 100 shot.

I’m not sure what I’m doing yet… there are a couple on the market, but I wanted to keep the exhaust… and still be able to tow my car… so my options are limited. I’m thinking custom.

The most common problem I’ve heard (if you’re modding it wise, and mind you I haven’t looked into any other problems, I just know from friends with them) is the transmission shitting the bed over 500 or 600hp I forget which

I don’t plan on blowing up the warranty yet… so it will be stock slowness for a while.

My first mod will be better floor mats.

And I can plow my driveway with it, I found out this morning…

Yes, I can do digs. My avg MPG for the last couple days has been 11ish.
I’m going to start telling people to grab onto something before I floor it… I don’t want them grasping at whatever they can get their hands on…
