Blizzard announced today that StarCraft 2 will be released as three separate expansions, one for each race. The expansions will be chronological and will go in the following order; Wings of Liberty (Terran), Heart of the Swarm (Zerg), and Legacy of the Void (Protoss).

For the sake of my job I better not buy this when it comes out. Kind of weird how they are releasing it. I wonder how this is going to play into the online gaming? Everyone using 1 race until the next game comes out? Or is this just for single player mode?
I just found this out.
I find it moderately shitty, as my take on it is that you’ll get full access to everything when doing multiplayer, however only 1 of the three story modes will be released per box. If each is $29.99 that’d be retarded.
