Jeff Gordon used Camaro prank

Obviously it’s fake, but they could have done a better job at making the commercial.

Like using the right year camaro for one lol, having jeff gordon actually drive the car. but we wouldnt know if he was actually driving seeing as the camera was pointed at the passenger seat.

im sure jeff gordon could do the “stunts” in the video. i could see using a different driver for the part where he drove up the ramp.

I posted it up a couple days ago. While I enjoyed the video the car spinning out was a little too dramatic

Oh boi

lol perfect example of NYSpeed at its worst. Who gives a fuck if it is real or not. It was entertaining.

Again you seem to be the one butt hurt. Having to try and prove a point to me like I give a shit. Personally NFG here at all. Funny though… Didnt know they made a 09 Camaro.

If you truly NFG then you wouldn’t have replied 4 times to this thread.

Here is a Camaro made in 2009 being tested in 2009, sold as a MY 2010:

It’s only 5.5 seconds faster than this POS:

I didnt know the s2000 was supposed to be a fast car. You fooled me. lol And at that, I better hope the Camaro SS would be faster with 400+ horse power, needing a v8 with forced induction compared to a 4 cylinder N/A 240hp car. lol

And sold in 2010 means its a 2010, not an 09.

it may be made in 2009, tested in 2009, but you wont find it advertised as a 2009, because it isn’t

and lol did you read what they said about the s2000…

“this was one of the few cars that allowed us to do the series of turns flat out, although it also was endowed with the fourth-lowest horsepower rating.”

they basically bash the camaro, why dont you pick an article that actually says something good about the car…

about the camaro:

“It all adds up to a momentary hesitation before the Camaro takes the desired course, and this minor delay made the car feel massive as it sluiced through the esses, exhibiting the gracelessness of a freighter.”

“The Camaro leans slightly before it takes a set, and this initial roll compliance, combined with sluggish steering, is immediately noticeable on turn-in”

“A large shift knob nearly the size of a baseball moves through longish throws that require a firm hand

Are we really still arguing about the fact that it’s fake even thought that’s already been posted?

Watch the video, laugh a little, buy a Pepsi max, move on.

Nope, apparently fairgentlemanz wanted to compare my car to a “09” camaro which wasnt released in 09. Also people getting butt hurt when jokes are thrown about NASCAR and making right hand turns and racing in the rain… all sarcasm but some didnt seem to get that. lol

we’ve officially gone full retard. this has now degraded into a Honda vs Chevy argument.

how an s2000 is brought up into a thread about a camaro is beyond me, we are talking nascar here kids, not real racing

and no i’m not double posting, it just takes 3-4 mins when i hit post and sometimes does it on its own

im sorry, i didnt know that all ads / commercials that promote products were all real life instances :dunno:

and i imagine a big part of why jeff was only in part of the commercial is that it was alot less becks to pay him compared to if he was in the whole thing.

fucking r tards. what the fuck.

there is a big difference between parody and representing something as true. Let’s call it what it is, Gordon gets his makeup done, then goes home. If I raced with him there would be endless shit for this, there weren’t even any dangerous stunts.

what ever happened to men being men? If I was Gordon I would have shown up and been like “WTF is this, get rid of this V6 automatic and bring me a V8 manual” “that guy’s driving? wrong, I’m driving” “some actor screaming? no way, get me a real salesperson, I’ll make him piss himself with no acting”… and so on…

Question: what happened to men being men?

Answer: Money

Pepsi: Yo, Jeff Gordon…How’d you like to sit in a camaro with a fake beard and mustache and make $10,000,000
Jeff Gordon: Yeah sure, what the fuck.

BING!!!
