so yesterday as I was cruising to the gun range my speedo cut out. I attempted to ask on the civic wagon forum about where to start looking for a problem but my topic was, as always disaproved. That forum is just garbage I need a quick answer the search sucks so I post only to find out a day later the only mod scanned through my post and decided my issue wasn’t worth posting.
Cut out and stop working all together?
What’s nice about these is that the speedometer is mechanical and cable driven, so it should be an easy troubleshoot and fix.

Fix the speedo issue?
Yeah I downloaded a speedo app in the google market for my phone. I’m not going to have time to look more into it. I leave monday afternoon and the car isn’t really going to be driven while I’m gone
I’m back! stationed at Leonard Wood, they have a killer auto shop i will be able to rent a bay at and get this little car some atention. Right now you’ll see it around while i’m chilling on leave.

not much going on on the civic while I’m on leave. Got me and the wife a more suitable daily driver. See you guys at Lancaster tonight with both the cars. Maybe racing the civic once or twice.

Cruise night was interesting. I could tell the car people apart from the less intelligent by their reaction to my car. Often times I’d look over to see a crowd around it but when I was driving to and from the staging lane people who didn’t really know about cars yelled about my car being a piece. I really got to get on the main seal leak I believe it’s the cause of a newly developed clutch slip. I might just replace the clutch while I have the engine apart just to be on the safe side. Either way it won’t start until after I get me and the wife settled in Missouri. The car was running improbably slow and I got beat by a decent little CRX.

yes that’s the announcer guy talking to me about civic wagons at the start. Random people did that all night, I even had a guy walk up to my car when i was in the bleach box and tried to sell me wheels from a wagon he sold in the 90s
