Over the weekend i picked up the civic from Henry, and boy am i looking forward to it.
Here is what i know about it (stolen from henry’s FS thread)
The Motor was rebuilt by the previous owner with OEM Honda parts@2-3k ago.
MOTOR.
-B18B1 block, Gsr head which is port n polished.
-DC header straight piped to a vibrant muffler (not bad sounding at all)
-CCC tuned Xenocron ECU.
-BBK Single stage induction manifold.
-Blox 70mm TB.
-short ram intake.
-Golden eagle fuel and a pressure regulator
-Innovate wideband.
-External fuel pump.
This car is awesome. Here are my plans:
-Ditch the bumpers and mold the body lines
-pull the engine and have it rebuilt or totally replace it with something else, maybe a K series. if i keep the engine i want it build for low boost 10-12psi
-re-do the engine mounts (they were done half ass)
-re-wire the whole car
-all new gaskets (guy in australia sells them)
-new suspension bushings or totally swap it out for something newer
-powdercoat every nut and bolt, all suspension, engine parts etc.
-4x100 front and rear disc conversion
-put the battery in the rear
-new fuel cell if i can find one or fabricate one in the spare tire compartment
-rims and tires
-half cage and seats, harnesses
-exhaust, maybe straight out the fender or under the pass side door
-gauges (probably a racepak)
-shave the engine bay and make the engine clean enough to eat off
-respray the entire car (i’m really digging the silver color below)
-And i’m sure a lot more on top of all of that
i’m very excited to get working on it. First thing i need to do is get my s cleaned up and in the garage for the winter with the cover over it, then i’ll put this guy in front of it and start tearing it down.
