I was told the sr 3 inch downpipe will can be use for a ka-t setup as well . There are 2 manifold avaialble for a ka-t . Top mount and bottom mount . I am having a custom manifold made and want to know which setup will work with the sr downpipe ? Asking because I really want to place and order in the GB but want to make sure it will fit .

This question can’t really be answered because it all depends on the manifold and the turbo that you run. Theoretically, the turbo extension of a bottom mounted turbo should place it in approximately the same spot as the bottom mount SR, however in reality that probably won’t be the case. Besides, if you’re getting everything done custom, then why not just get the downpipe done as well?
Come on give me a break, from somebody who can’t spell “correct”, that really hurt. The only thing wrong I did was to accidentally add the word " will " in the sentence. Not a big deal compare to what I have already seen here.
Anyway, The reason I asked is because I will have to put everything together at home in my driveway. Having a downpipe I cannot line up is not an option. I would guess bottom mount because of the SR20 stock turbo location but wanted to make sure.
