Kahlon laptop batteries?

I have an hp dv1000 laptop and its battery is beat. With wifi off, brightness all the way down, and only word open, I get maybe an hour and ten minutes, tops.

I’m sitting in Lockwood right now and the guy next to me has the dv1240 or something. He said he bought a new, bigger battery off kahlon.com, and it gets way more battery life. I’m just curious if this is a good manufacturer, and maybe what some of my other battery options out there are. holla

Sounds like it would be better than a beat battery any day.

You can snoop around ebay for a battery.

My brother just bought a new dell lappy, and when we did the online checkout there were literally 4 different upgrade batteries available (for extra money). The most expensive one was like 149 dollars extra.

I think you would be fine with any name, so long as the battery is new.

beware aftermarket stuff, ive seen them kill phones before

:word: I agree 100%

Aftermarket batteries may seem attractive but you get what you pay for. You can’t go wrong with OEM.

BTW, this might be an alternative…

Interesting they have a “battery base” available for my old Compaq Armada 4131T.

9500mAH FTW, bet that will add some heft.

However $400 out of my wallet would make up for the increase of weight.

Consumer ratings seem a bit on the iffy side. Just see if an OEM high capacity battery is available.

OEM parts on ebay are dirt cheap (at least for dell, although proly knockoffs) I’d assume that you could find a decent HP battery on there cheap.

my dell battery went totally dead after one year. i bought a battery there and its been good for the last 2.5-3 years

the guy had a battery from that site, although slightly larger physically, that he said lasted 4 hours easy. i could definately deal with that
