There are two sides to this coin- think about it.
“Every ethnicity has people who give the rest of the group a bad image.”
It’s only a bad image for “the rest of the group” if a person reacts to the one bad representative and automatically relates the behavior to the REST of that group. Usage of these words only serves to feed this type of behavior. Doesn’t seem to be anything positive associated with them.
This behavior basically starts as stereotyping and, left unchecked, can turn into racism.
I find it better to avoid disrespect altogether and not use the N word, white trash, chink, jap, etc.
