The Kars for Kids Daytona 500 Party will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2005 at the Saddle Ridge Rock-N-Country Saloon located at 4 Station Square Drive East, Pittsburgh, PA. (www.saddleridgepittsburgh.com) Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Cribs for Kids program of the Pennsylvania SIDS Alliance (www.sids-pa.org)

Event organizers Art and Eileen McGovern believe it will be an event like no other. They want to kick off the season with the many local race fans while supporting children’s charities. Along with being able to enjoy the grand daddy of all NASCAR races with several hundred other race fans, you will have the chance to win one of several once in a lifetime prizes. And you can experience it all for just $25 per person.

The price gets you an unlimited supply of food and beer as well as reduced price drinks from the bar. Along with the food and racing on the Saddle Ridge’s big screen TV’s you will have the opportunity to bid on several gift packages that include race tickets to NASCAR Nextel Cup races, racing memorabilia, tickets to Western Pennsylvania racetracks and much more.

The grand prize for the event includes is pair of tickets to the NASCAR Nextel All Star Race on Saturday, May 20, 2006. Tickets to other NASCAR Nextel Cup events at Lowes Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Infineon Raceway as well as numerous other race related items will be up for auction.

Several other items have been donated to be auctioned off or given away. In fact vendors who would like to donate will be eligible for a vendor giveaway that includes two tickets to a race at Lowes Motor Speedway.

Doors for this event will open at 12:00 on February 19th. Tickets are available by calling 412-481-1410 or purchase tickets online at the SIDS of Pennsylvania Donation Page (www.sids-pa.org/SIDS-FUND-KARS.htm). Specify “KARS for Kids Tickets”.
